This is VERY important. We have nearly 100 kids who signed up for
soccer! What we can't do is have teams without coaches and we had only 6
parents volunteer to coach. We have to turn in our numbers to league
shortly and if we don't have coaches, we can not assemble teams. Here is
what we need to move forward:
3 more coaches for K/1 level 4 more coaches for 2/3 level 7 more coaches for 4/5/6 level
If we don't get the volunteer coaches, we can't do this! We NEED YOU!!!
You don't have to be a professional soccer player or coach. You have to
be willing to have fun and guide the kids along. Even if you want to
help coach, that's still a great start. If you have a family member or
friend who can help, please send them our way!!
We need more help!
In addition to soccer coaches we are in
immediate need of library volunteers. Without them, class can not visit
the school library.
We are looking for help on Tuesdays and even
more help on Wednesdays and Thursday's! Please contact the head of our
library volunteers, Debbie Collins for more information or if you are
interested. Reach her by e-mail at Collins.firstname.lastname@example.org. Even if you
have family like a grandparent that wants to help, we will gladly take
If these words intrigue you then we need you! We are looking for
volunteer coaches to run our Girls on the Run program. We are excited to
announce that the program is returning for another season but we need
volunteers to make it happen. Time commitment is minimal (meet twice a
week for 1.5 hour with 30 minutes or less prep) and the time spent with
the girls is worth so much more. The curriculum and supplies are
provided. You just need to review the lesson and be ready to have some fun. And you do not need to be a runner to be a coach.
We are hope to kick off the season in early September and it runs for
10 weeks. If you are interested in coaching, please contact Jill Porter
at email@example.com. Please visit www.GirlsOnTheRunNWOhio.org
for more information on this incredible, life-changing program!
